With its lead actor in a rehabilitation facility, the future of CBS' "Two And A Half Men" has been a bit of a mystery. Now though, actor Charlie Sheen has left his clinic and will return to work in no time.

Production shut down on the popular sitcom on Feb. 23 after Sheen checked himself into a clinic as a "preventative measure." This comes after a disturbance at his home in Colorado on Christmas Day, where the actor allegedly pulled a knife on his wife. The series has so far produced 18 of its 24 episodes for the current season and is expected to return for another season next year.

Now, with the actor heading back to the set on Tuesday, production on the final few episodes will resume on the series and the CBS schedule is not expected to see any changes.

Since news of the production freeze hit the web, many have wondered if Sheen himself would pick up the tab for the hold-up. The actor is reportedly the most paid actor on television, earning approx. $900,000 per episode of the popular family sitcom. The actor has a history of such behaviour and The Hollywood Reporter speculated that Sheen would either cover the production losses or enter re-negotiations with CBS for a pay cut for future seasons.

Sheen will formally enter his please on March 15 for the domestic abuse allegations.
