Letterman, Oprah Surprise Super Bowl Viewers

You won't believe who stopped by to help promote 'Late Show'

By MICHAEL HINMAN Feb-7-2010
Just when you thought the whole Jay Leno/Conan O'Brien/David Letterman debacle had run out of steam, CBS surprises those tuning in to the Super Bowl Feb. 7 with a bit of a surprise.

Picking up on a 10-second promo Letterman did with Oprah Winfrey during the network's 2007 broadcast of the big game, the producers of "Late Show With David Letterman" decided to borrow a little from that success, and add a new element: Jay Leno.

Leno, of course, was the subject of a lot of ridicule by Letterman during the NBC standoff, and how CBS somehow pulled this off is something you can read about by clicking here, courtesy of Entertainment Weekly.

You may have seen the other Super Bowl commercials on the Internet already, but get your first look at Letterman, Winfrey ... and Leno.
