Final Countdown To Jay Leno Premiere

Former late-night host gets ready to try out primetime experiment

By MICHAEL HINMAN Sep-9-2009
Believe it or not, the NBC act of genius/desperation (depending on your perspective) that is "The Jay Leno Show" is almost here, and the network is rolling out everything it can to showcase it.

The first piece of news was that Leno has unveiled his "correspondents," which seem to be taking a small page from the "Daily Show" book on Comedy Central. But the big-chinned comedian says what he's doing at 10 p.m. is far different than what John Stewart or even Jay Leno himself once did at a slightly later time slot.

But is that really the case?

Check out some of the latest video from "The Jay Leno Show" including the latest promo, an introduction of Leno's new comedic correspondents, and a mini-movie featuring the man himself, all courtesy of NBC.
